The paper concerns the estimation of state a power system in which there is phase shifter called quadrature booster. aim comparative analysis two different cases including booster estimation. In first case, represented by model consisting real voltage sources, one series with line and other shunt branch. second model, branch as off at end where considered actually installed. assumed to be carried out polar coordinate system. properties are characterized by: number iterations calculation process, index conditioning matrix coefficients equations solved (cond(G)), ratio Je/Jm, measure accuracy Using IEEE 14-bus test system, investigations such way cover entire space possible. investigations, Monte Carlo experiments for each Each these also analyzed from point view definition Investigations show that previously described cases, more accurate, but calculations worse process. shows that, results obtained practically independent performed.
